Pascal Levensohn

Pascal is the founder and Managing Partner of Levensohn Venture Partners (LVP) and a Managing Director of Dolby Family Ventures. He is a Senior Strategic Advisor and Partner of Silicon Castles GmbH in Salzburg. He has 34 years of experience as a professional investor and fund manager and 22 years of experience as a Silicon Valley venture capitalist. A graduate of Harvard University, he is currently the Chairman of the Board of ShotSpotter, Inc. (NASDAQ:SSTI), a director of Authentic Vision GmbH, a director of Mixed Dimensions, and a director or Cure Network Dolby Acceleration Partners LLC.

Pascal is a former director of the National Venture Capital Association (2007-2011). He is a faculty member of the Kauffman Fellows Program Center for Venture Education (2006-present) where he teaches best board governance practices and business ethics for VC-backed company board members.

An expert on corporate governance, since 1999 he has published three widely read white papers on this topic, one of which was translated into Arabic and Hebrew in 2006. He co-authored the first government approved Chinese college textbook on Venture Capital in China in 2011, which is going into its second edition in late 2017.

In 2016 Pascal joined the Advisory Board to the rector of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Austria, where he is also a guest lecturer on Entrepreneurship (Fachhochschule Salzburg).

He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Trustee of the American Academy in Berlin.
