Thomas Stütz studied Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Salzburg.
After his PhD thesis in the area of multimedia security and compression, he held a post-doc position at the University of Nantes (France) and the University of Salzburg.
In 2012 he joined the department of MultiMediaTechnology at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. He teaches in the areas of Mixed Reality (Augmented and Virtual Reality), Multimedia-Data Processing and Security.
Since 2013 he is part of the FFG-funded project SmartHealthCheck in which smartphone apps for health management and support are developed and evaluated.
